ACPC Gujarat begins BE/BTech 2026 admissions; apply by May 31, merit list from June 12, counselling in multiple rounds
The Admission committee for professional courses (ACPC), Gujarat, has announced the detailed schedule for the degree engineering (BE/BTech) admissions on the official website of ACPC at acpc.gujarat.gov.in/be-b-tech. As per the schedule, the registration process for the admission was started from March 31, 2026 and will close on May 31, 2026 before 5 pm.
Candidates must complete the registration process online by uploading required documents and paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 350. Registration through the official portal is mandatory, as no offline mode is available.
The entire admission process is conducted online, and applicants can track updates, verification, and guidelines through their login. Notably, there is no requirement to submit original documents at institutes during the process.

Degree engineering admissions 2026: Important dates
The counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds, including mock rounds, round 1, 2, 3, and a final online round for government and grant-in-aid (GIA) institutes. The key dates are:

Degree engineering admissions 2026: Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (HSC) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as prescribed by AICTE norms.
95% in government/GIA colleges and 50% in unaided institutes, candidates must have studied in Gujarat and appeared for GUJCET 2026. The remaining 5% government seats are open to candidates across India based on JEE Main 2026. For centres of excellence, Gujarat-based candidates must qualify through the relevant entrance exam.

Degree engineering (BE/BTech) admissions 2026: Provision of merit
For admissions, 95% of seats in government and grant-in-aid institutions and 50% in unaided colleges will be filled based on a combined merit, giving equal weightage to Class 12 theory percentile (in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology for relevant branches) and GUJCET 2026 percentile scores.
Meanwhile, the remaining 5% seats in government and GIA institutions will be allotted based on the All India Rank secured in JEE (Main) 2026, as declared by the NTA.
