Hyderabad University opens applications for 17 UG, Integrated PG courses; admissions via CUET scores

University of Hyderabad Admissions 2026: A total of 470 seats will be filled through the admissions process. Candidates can submit applications at acad.uohyd.ac.in before July 21.
The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has opened the applications for admission to its Undergraduate (UG) and Integrated Post-Graduate (PG) programmes for the academic year 2026-27. Interested candidates can submit their applications for various UG, and PG admissions through the official website at acad.uohyd.ac.in by July 21.
The University of Hyderabad will declare the counselling list for its admissions 2026 on August 3 and the classes will begin from August 17, as per the official notification.
Notably, students will be admitted to 17 specialised programmes at UoH on the basis of their Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 scores.

“The university offers a total of 470 seats distributed across various disciplines, ensuring equitable access as per government reservation policies (including allocations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PWD, and DP categories),” the statement read.
The courses offered by the varsity include 4-year BS (honours, research): Chemistry, 5-year Integrated MSc in Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Applied Geology, and Psychology, and 5-year Integrated MA programmes in Philosophy, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Language Sciences, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology.
General category candidates should have to pay Rs 300 as UoH application fee, whereas Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes- Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) students can pay the requisite fee of Rs 200 as registration charges.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD)PH will have to pay Rs 125 as UG, PG application fee.
The university will prepare the merit-list for each program separately and after the successful payment of the application fees, form number will be generated.
Candidates should take the printout of the application form and keep it safe for future correspondence. Without the Form Number application will not be considered, the university said.
