IGNOU launches BA programme in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises; eligibility, application fee

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched the Bachelor of Arts (Vocational Studies) Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (BAVMSME) programme for IGNOU admissions 2025. Candidates can apply for the BA course through the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The three-year BA (VS) programme in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises is launched in open distance learning mode. The programme has been developed by the School of Vocational Education and Training.
The BA (VS) Micro Small and Medium Enterprises programme aims to cater to present requirements for entrepreneurs aiding in knowledge and skill development to establish a business. The programme also aims to create opportunities for unskilled workers and improve skills as per industry standards and requirements.
The programme will offer university-level education in new entrepreneurial fields which would fulfil the demands of starting new businesses vis-à-vis employment generation and contributing to the economy.
Candidates willing to apply must have their 10+2 qualification certificates or its equivalent. The registration fee for the programme is Rs 300. The fee structure is Rs 5,100 every year.
