NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced a new MA programme in Urdu under the School of Humanities. Interested candidates can apply for IGNOU 2021 MA Urdu admission process through the admission portal of the IGNOU.

Before applying for admission, candidates should check the IGNOU eligibility criteria 2021 for MA Urdu. As per the IGNOU notification, candidates must have a bachelor or higher degree from a recognized university to be eligible for MA Urdu.
While applying for admission, candidates are required to enter their personal and academic details in the required fields. Applicants will also have to pay a registration fee of Rs 200. They must make sure that all the details provided in the application form are correct.
The MA in Urdu is a two-year programme offered in January and July sessions. The total fee that candidates are required to pay to study this postgraduate programme is Rs. 12,600.
This postgraduate programme will provide students a wide spectrum of knowledge regarding Urdu language and literature. Studying MA Urdu would also help candidates in getting a better understanding of Urdu literature along with literature like Persian, Hind, English and Arabic.
Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) School of Humanities is also offering MA in Jyotish programme via open distance learning (ODL) mode. This postgraduate programme will be taught to students in Hindi.
