IGNOU TEE June 2022 assignment submission deadline extended till May 31

IGNOU has further extended the last date to submit assignments for term-end examination June 2022 till May 31.
NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has further extended the last date to submit assignments for the term-end examination (TEE) June 2022 to May 31. “With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for the term-end examination, June 2022 has been further extended till May 31, 2022,” said an official notice from IGNOU.

Earlier, the university had extended the TEE June 2022 assignment submission deadline to May 15. The IGNOU December 2021 term end exam result 2021 was declared last month-end on the official website, ignou.ac.in. The university had said, “Remaining results of term-end, assignment, practical and project awards is a continuous process and will be updated soon.”

Recently, IGNOU held its 35th convocation ceremony at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, IGNOU Maidan Garhi Campus. The University conferred more than 290,000 degrees, diplomas, and certificates in the Convocation to the successful students in their respective programmes. Gold medals were also awarded to meritorious students in the Convocation by Dharmendra Pradhan.
The University vice-chancellor Nageshwar Rao awarded blockchain-based digital degrees to 60,570 students during the convocation. Pradhan launched the digital degrees developed with the help of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.

While thanking the education minister for his presence, Rao said that IGNOU has 67 regional centres - 56 of its own and 11 recognised centres established with army, navy, and Assam rifles along with 240 learner support centres also.
IGNOU presently offers 281 academic programmes and during the last year it received over 13 lakh registrations and re-registrations from students which is the highest since its inception, Rao said.
