The final date for IGNOU Admissions 2021-22 to PG and UG courses has been extended to Nov 30, 2021
NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the final date for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate admission for the July 2021 session to the end of November. The last date for IGNOU PG and UG admission 2021 is now November 30, the university announced on Tuesday.
However, the university’s statement also says that the extension does not apply in the case of admission to IGNOU’s semester-based programmes. Also, admission to IGNOUs certificate, diploma and PG diploma programmes for the July 2021 session is closed.
Candidates can apply through IGNOU’s online admission portal for open and distance learning (ODL) programmes are ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
How to fill IGNOU application form online

Open IGNOU website: Indira Gandhi National Open University (samarth.edu.in)

Click on the 'NEW REGISTRATION' button under the Admission Portal. Fill in the required registration details.

The user name must be between eight and 16 characters.

The password must be alphanumeric and between eight and 16 characters long.

Click the "SUBMIT" button after filling in the details.

You will receive a username instantly on your registered e-mail and SMS.

Note down the username and password.
Users who are already registered can click the "Log in" button.
IGNOU Application Form Filling: Documents required
The applicant needs to have with him/her the following:-

Scanned photograph (less than 100 KB)

Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)

Scanned copy of age proof (less than 200 KB)

Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB)

Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)

Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)

Scanned copy of BPL certificate, if below poverty line(less than 200 KB)

Scanned documents of original certificates are ideally preferred. After uploading the document, click the next button.

Save/Print your form for references in future.
Registration fee
Registration Fee is Rs. 200/-. This is a non-refundable amount and has to be paid along with the programme fee of the first semester/year at the time of admission.
