IIM Indore, ACCA collaborate to boost accountancy and finance education in India

Indian Institute of Management Indore and the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA) have signed an agreement to promote professional opportunities and academic excellence in the fields of accountancy and finance.
The collaboration aims to create a strong network to foster innovation, knowledge sharing, and best practices in the accountancy and finance industry, according to an official statement by IIM Indore .
Himanshu Rai, director at IIM Indore, said: “We at IIM Indore are delighted to collaborate with ACCA, a globally respected professional accountancy body, to bridge academic excellence with global industry practices.”

IIM Indore, ACCA to create 'powerful network'
The management institute said that the collaboration will strengthen both institutions to benefit their members and broader community of accountancy professionals.
IIM Indore and ACCA will create a ‘powerful’ network that fosters innovation, knowledge sharing, and best practices in the industry. The signing ceremony was held between Prabhanshu Mittal, ACCA's head of education partner relationships – India, and Himanshu Rai, director at IIM Indore.
Both the bodies will conduct joint academic programmes, workshops, and seminars. ACCA will also implement joint initiatives for professional development, including training the trainer and faculty development sessions.
“ACCA will work together with the institute to cultivate a culture of innovation and research in the field of accounting and finance, contributing to the advancements in the profession,” the management institute said.
