NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has launched a full-time four-year Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) (honours with research) course at its Kochi campus. The institute will commence the admission process for the undergraduate programme in June 2025 and the classes will start tentatively from late August or early September.
Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the bachelors programme through the official website of IIM Kozhikode at iimk.ac.in.
The first-ever UG course by the management institute aimed at preparing a new generation of responsible, globally minded and innovation-driven leaders, as per the official statement.
Debashis Chatterjee, director of IIM Kozhikode, said: “This undergraduate programme is a game-changer—not just for IIM Kozhikode, but for Indian higher education. It introduces management thinking to young minds at the right age, empowers them with interdisciplinary tools, and shapes responsible, culturally aware leaders of tomorrow. At a time when the world needs agile thinkers and grounded dreamers, this initiative bridges the gap between curiosity and capability, between aspiration and action.”
Notably, in addition to a major in management, students can also opt for stackable minors in fields such as economics and public policy, artificial intelligence and machine learning, psychology and behavioural sciences, finance and big data, liberal studies, and many more.
