IIM Raipur, Academy of Digital Health Sciences announce 4th batch of digital health programmes; eligibility
IIM Raipur: Registration for one-year PGCPDH and DPDH programme has commenced and the classes will begin in November 2024.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, in partnership with the Academy of Digital Health Sciences, has announced the launch of the fourth batch of the Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Digital Health (PGCPDH) and the Diploma Programme in Digital Health (DPDH).
As per the official press release, these one-year programs aim to prepare future leaders with an in-depth understanding of the rapidly changing digital health sector. Registrations for both courses are open, and the new batch is set to commence in November 2024.
As stated in the IIM Raipur press release, the certificate programs provide exposure through a curriculum that covers medical and technological areas, including telemedicine, data analytics, digital health policies, and entrepreneurship, delivered through online classes. Participants will be assessed through quizzes at the end of each chapter and a four-week module dissertation or internship.
Curriculum
The curriculum is divided into 3 levels- Basic Level: Theoretical aspects of digital health, Advanced Level: Technological & management aspects of digital health and Professional Level: Application aspects of digital health with use cases. Participants of the PG Certificate Programme in Digital Health (PGCPDH) and DPDH programs will have the chance to join a three-day in-person immersion program at IIM Raipur, providing practical learning experiences and networking opportunities.

Eligibility criteria
Candidates can have a look at the eligibility criteria below.
- Candidates with a graduation degree or its equivalent can apply for the DPDH.
- Applicants are required to be 25 years old as of February 2024 to apply for the diploma programme.
- Candidates with professional degrees are exempted from the minimum age criteria.
- To apply for the PGCPDH, candidates are required to hold a graduation degree or its equivalent and have at least two years of work experience in relevant healthcare fields. Eligible professionals include doctors, healthcare professionals, managers in healthcare settings, paramedics, healthcare IT and med-tech professionals, those in the pharmaceutical industry, clinical informatics professionals, hospital administrators, academicians, researchers, healthcare consultants, policymakers, public sector leaders, and heads of community and primary health centers.
