The IIT Bombay’s Spring session 2026 convocation enabled students who have completed their studies to receive their degrees ahead of the main ceremony, the institute said.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), ranked at 2nd position in India in the QS World University Rankings 2026, conferred degrees upon 635 students at its 64th convocation ceremony. A total of 430 Undergraduates (UG), 161 other academic programmes, and 44 Executive MBA (E-MBA) students received their degrees during the convocation event.
The institute of eminence also awarded 269 students with their PhD with MTech, MSc, MPhil+PhD dual degrees during its Spring session convocation ceremony.

Chief Guest Motilal Oswal, CEO and Co-founder of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. The spring convocation ceremony was attended by Viay Ramani, senior vice provost for graduate education and international affairs, Washington University in St. Louis, USA, students, faculty members, including other people.
