IIMC round 1 seat allotment results 2023 declared for PG Diploma courses; what’s next?

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced the first round seat allotment 2023 result for admission to all postgraduate (PG) diploma courses for the academic year 2023-24. Candidates who appeared in the entrance exam 2023 and completed the choice filling process will be able to check the IIMC seat allotment 2023 from the official website, iimc.admissions.nic.in.
Candidates who have qualified the Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate (CUET PG 2023) and have an All India Rank (AIR) were considered for the admission. The institute will also be uploading the opening and closing rank on the official website.
“The choices finally submitted and locked by the candidates or auto locked by system, will be processed in order of rank and candidate’s preferences as per approved seat allotment algorithm and seats are allotted in the order of merit as per All India Rank (AIR) and also on the basis of applicable reservation criteria,” the institute said.
Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to download the provisional allotment letter.
What after IIMC seat allocation 2023
Candidates will have to complete the following process after the seat allotment.
Willingness submission - Aspirants can either choose ‘freeze’ or ‘float’ option. Float option has to be chosen if an applicant wants to upgrade the option in the subsequent counselling rounds. Freeze is for candidates who are satisfied with the allotment and do not wish to upgrade the option.
Uploading documents - Candidates will have to upload Class 10 certificate for age proof, graduate or equivalent mark sheet or undertaking, CUET PG admit card, CUET PG score card, category certificate, PwD certificate if applicable.
Fee payment - They are required to pay an amount of Rs 20,000 as seat acceptance fee to confirm the allotted seat. Failing which, the seat allotment will be cancelled.
