IISER 2026 counselling schedule out; round 1 admission from July 24

IISER Admissions 2026: Rounds 2 and 3 counselling will commence on August 1 and August 10, respectively.
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have announced the counselling schedule for admissions 2026. As per the timeline, candidates who cleared the entrance examination can now participate in round 1 admission, which will commence on July 24 at 5 pm.
IISER 2026 counselling schedule
Round 1 of IISER 2026 counselling will remain open till July 28, 5 pm. The round 2 admission offers will be available from August 1 (5 pm) to August 5 (5 pm), followed by the IISER admission 2026 for round 3 offers from August 10 (5 pm) to August 13 (5 pm).

Candidates who have registered for the IISER 2026 counselling process will be able to check their admission status through the official IISER portal. They will have to complete the seat acceptance process within the prescribed deadline for each round to confirm their admission.
Those who are participating in the IISER counselling 2026 are advised to log in to the official portal during the respective admission windows to check their allotment status and complete the required admission formalities within the stipulated time. Candidates' failure to accept the admission offer before the deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

IISER 2026 seat acceptance fee
Candidates who receive an IISER 2026 admission offer will have to pay the seat acceptance fee within the stipulated deadline to confirm their seat. The fee for candidates belonging to the general, EWS, OBC, OBC-NCL, PwD, KM, Kashmiri Pandit, and Kashmiri Hindu families (non-migrants) categories is Rs 35,000, which includes a non-refundable administrative fee of Rs 10,000. For SC and ST candidates, the SAF is Rs 17,500, which includes a non-refundable administrative fee of Rs 5,000.
