Try NowThe Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have released the IISER 2026 round 1 seat allotment result through the official admission portal. Candidates who participated in the IISER counselling process after qualifying the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026, can log in to check their IISER 2026 seat allotment results.
Those who have been allotted a seat in round 1 can choose to accept the allotted seat or wait for a better seat in subsequent rounds. If they opt for the first option, they must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) within the prescribed deadline to confirm their admission.

- Visit the official IISER admissions portal
- Log in using your application details and password
- Click on the round 1 admission offer/ seat allotment link
- View the allotted IISER and programme details
- Download the admission offer letter and keep a copy for future reference

Candidates must follow the counselling schedule, as missing any deadline for seat acceptance or document submission may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
What after the IISER 2026 round 1 seat allotment result?
After checking the IISER 2026 round 1 seat allotment result, candidates who receive an admission offer will have two options:
- Accept the allotted seat and complete the admission process
- Reject the admission offer if they do not wish to take admission
Those who are not allotted a seat in round 1 or who opt for seat rejection will automatically be considered in the subsequent counselling rounds, subject to seat availability and merit. The IISER admission authority will conduct additional rounds in August if there are seats vacant after completion of the earlier rounds.
