IIT Kanpur invites applications for eMasters degree in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management

IIT Kanpur has opened the registration window for the eMasters programme on emasters.iitk.ac.in. Deadline to apply for the course is May 12, 2023.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has invited applications from candidates for the eMasters degree in Quantitative finance and Risk Management. The registration process for the course is underway at emasters.iitk.ac.in.
The deadline to apply for the course has been fixed as May 12, 2023, a statement from the institute said. The statements in the official notification further stated that the programme is aimed at training the budding traders, commodity market specialists and finance enthusiasts to create a valued impact in alternative investment segments, with proper amalgamation of theory and practice. The third batch of the course will begin from July 2023 onwards.
The institute said in the official press release that the candidates enrolling for the course will be able to complete it within a duration of one to three years. The degree will include a visit to IIT Kanpur campus, mentorship programmes and career support from the institute, it added.

IIT Kanpur director Abhay Karandikar said: "The ones who enroll for the course will be agile in navigating through the fintech revolution and gain multiford expertise to shape and build the country's economic future. The degree offered by IIT Kanpur is unique in its own way and will pave the way for the students to gain specialisation in the evolving domains of finance".
