Italy-based OPIT launches UG, PG programmes online to Indian students in technology

Indian students can pay fees ranging from Rs 3.25 lakhs to Rs 4.75 lakhs for UG and PG programmes in AI, CS and applied data science.
NEW DELHI: Open Institute of Technology (OPIT) will offer online undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in technology for Indian students. The programmes will be offered in computer science (CS), applied data science and artificial intelligence (AI). The degrees will hold full legal value in Europe and will be professionally recognized by employers, an official statement said.
The Italy-based OPIT offers annual tuition fees ranging from Rs 3.25 lakhs to Rs 4.75 lakhs. This will help Indian students and young tech professionals seeking accessible, affordable and flexible international higher education.

OPIT will train the students under the guidance of its expert teams and will help Indian students and professionals to be prime candidates in the global job market. The institute was co-founded by Riccardo Ocleppo, the founder of Docsity, and Francesco Profumo, former Minister of Education of Italy, and is dedicated to providing top-tier international education. As per an institute statement, this education will enhance practical readiness, competencies, and affordability.
OPIT has enabled students from all around the world to access quality education through online mediums. The programmes are conducted in English by the faculty including international professors from top universities. This has created a diverse and inclusive global learning community. The institution's curriculum is designed to make students job-ready. OPIT uses a progressive assessment approach that allows students to consistently showcase their knowledge and skills throughout their studies.
