JMI introduces MTech Environmental Health, Risk, and Safety Management; apply by October 27

Candidates need to visit Jamia’s official website, jmicoe.in to apply, fill in the application form, and pay the required fee of Rs 700 to register for the programme.
NEW DELHI : The Jamia Millia Islamia has commenced applications for its MTech programme in Environmental Health, Risk, and Safety Management. The last date to apply for this programme is October 27. Interested students can apply for the MTech degree at the official Jamia website, jmicoe.in.
The application fee for the programme is Rs 700. The application for the MTech programme commenced on October 15 and will continue till October 27, 2024, as per the latest notification.
Jamia’s MTech programme duration is two years having four semesters. The tuition fee for the programme is Rs 45,275 per year. The admission of the programme will be based on the entrance test results which will be held on November 3, 2024.
“Admission to these programs shall be granted based on merit in the entrance test, which shall be conducted on November 3, 2024, at centres in Delhi, NCR only. Desirous candidates may apply online through the website, jmicoe.in from October 15 to 27, 2024,” the official Jamia note read.
Candidates must have their email address, mobile number, scanned photo, scanned signature, credit card, net banking or debit card details before applying for the online admission form for the academic year 2024-25.

JMI MTech programme eligibility
As per the Jamia notification, interested candidates who have a degree in MSc in environmental studies, environmental science, BTech, BE BPlanning in any field from any university, or institution recognised by AICTE, UGC, can apply. Candidates must have at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying exam.
The University’s entrance exam syllabus of the MTech programme will consist of 100, multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each section of the exam will consist of 10 marks. The entrance exam duration will be two hours.
The entrance exam syllabus will include eight subjects including - analytical ability, ecology, basic components of ecosystem, natural resources, water pollution, air pollution, global environmental issues and environmental legislation and law.
