The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the NTA JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam on September 2. Applicants appeared for the exam can now check the JEE Main analysis and unofficial answer key from here. JEE Main phase 4 exam 2021 was held in two shifts for all day. JEE Main 2021 September 2 shift 2 exam timings were 3 pm to 6:30 pm. Students can check all the JEE Main latest news including analysis, answer key, paper pdf and more.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Day Guidelines

Applicants must reach the JEE Main 2021 exam centre as per slot mentioned in the admit card to avoid overcrowding.

All candidates need to wear a face mask throughout the exam.

The candidate should bring their JEE Main 2021 admit card for the phase 4 exam along with one or two passport size photographs and a valid photo identity proof.

Candidates should check what are the things to carry for JEE Main exam 2021 . Do not carry any items including mobile phones, electronic gadgets, study materials or any such item to the exam centre.
NTA JEE Main 2021 marking scheme

NTA JEE Main 2021 - Exam Analysis
Applicants can check JEE Main paper analysis for 2 September shift 2 now. For more details, candidates can check the section wise JEE Main today exam analysis from below.
Mathematics – More weightage was given to chapters of Calculus, 3D & Vector Algebra. There were some good and tricky questions from Binomial Theorem, Permutation & Combination, Probability & Matrices, Properties of Definite Integral & Differential Equation. Few tricky questions were also asked in chapters of Circle & Ellipse. Questions were of moderate level and lengthy.
Physics – This section was balanced with questions covering almost all chapters. Some good questions were asked from Kinematics, EM Waves, Electromagnetic Induction, Heat & Thermodynamics, Semiconductors, Modern Physics & Optics. Some Numerical Based questions had lengthy calculations but were easy.
Chemistry – Organic Chemistry & Inorganic Chemistry had more weightage. Physical Chemistry was asked only in Numerical Based Type. Questions were asked from chapters of General Organic Chemistry, Oxygen Containing Compounds in Organic Chemistry. In Inorganic Chemistry questions were asked from s-block & p- block elements, Ores & Metallurgy, Environmental Chemistry. Questions directly from NCERT were asked. Overall, this section was easy.

Maths: This section was moderate in difficulty level. Questions were lengthy and time-consuming. Some of the topics were calculus, integration, parabola, algebra, complex number, coordinates, straight lines etc.
Physics: This subject was moderate. Questions asked from topics like current, electricity, semiconductor, etc. Two questions were from modern physics. Most questions were asked from class 11 syllabus
Chemistry: This subject was the easiest one when compared with other subjects. Equal weightage was given for both organic and inorganic chemistry and less number of questions from physical chemistry. Difficulty level - Mathematics was the toughest while Chemistry was the easiest. Overall, this paper was of Moderate level as per students.
Mathematics – Moderate level. Questions covered all chapters however weightage was given to chapters of Calculus & Algebra. Some good level questions were asked from Continuity & Differentiability, Application of Derivatives, Definite Integral, Matrices, Progressions, Binomial Theorem, Permutation & Combination, Vectors, and 3D Geometry. Few students reported that Numerical Based questions required lengthy calculations.
Physics – Easy to Moderate. Questions were asked from almost all chapters however weightage was given to chapters of Class XII. Some good questions were asked from Wave Optics, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Electromagnetic Induction & Semiconductors. Numerical-based questions had lengthy calculations but were easy. Some students reported numerical section had tricky questions.
Chemistry - Easy. Organic Chemistry was given more weightage as compared to Inorganic & Physical Chemistry. Weightage was given to chapters like Amines, Alcohols, Biomolecules and Environmental Chemistry. Fact-based questions from NCERT were asked.

According to the student's review, the followings are the JEE Main exam analysis 2021 for the August 31 shift 2 exam.
- Chemistry was easy as usual. Questions were asked from topics such as chemistry in ionic equilibrium, chemical kinetics, polymers, etc. Questions came from organic chemistry mostly. There were three questions were asked from p-block elements, two from magnetism and optics topics.
- Maths was moderate and lengthy & time-consuming. Some of the topics were differential calculus, coordinate, circle, parabola, etc.
