JEE Main 2021: Students demand cancellation of 75% eligibility criteria
Students have also requested Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to postpone CBSE Board 2021 exams and conduct NEET 2021 twice.

After the declaration of JEE Main 2021 dates by the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, students have swarmed his Twitter handle with various requests and queries. A major request made by the students is to remove the 75 percent eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2021.

As per the JEE Main 2021 eligibility criteria, candidates should have secured at least 75 percent marks in the Class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12/qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards to be eligible for admission. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks criteria in JEE Main 2021 is 65 percent in Class 12 /qualifying examination.
NEET 2021 aspirants are also concerned as the exam dates are yet to be announced. Many students have also put up requests for conducting NEET 2021 twice this year as JEE Main 2021 is being conducted four times.
Moreover, students have asked the education minister to postpone the CBSE board 2021 exams as they do not have ample time to prepare.

Please postpone CBSE BOARDS 2021 to may and NEET to june..we need a minimal time to revise atleast!! Otherwise we won't be able to recall anything in the exam..please...waise aap sunte to nhi ho ho ham students ki kabhi..mann me aye voh karlete ho bas..!

Sir please postpone boards till may. Sir in our school 3 sections i.e. 150 students were taught together. When syllabus didn't go as planned they rushed it and completed it. I was not able to cope. Please sir we need time #postponeboards2021 #EducationMinisterGoesLive

JEE Main exam dates 2021 for all four sessions- February, March, April, and May - have been announced by the authorities. The JEE Main 2021 exam dates are - February 23 to 26, 2021; March 15 to 18, 2021; April 27 to 30, 2021, and May 24 to 28, 2021.
The JEE Main application 2021 process for the February session has already started from December 16 and the last date to apply is January 16, 2021. However, the last date to pay the fee for JEE Main application form 2021 is January 17.
