Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 in two sessions. As per the schedule, NTA JEE Main 2024 session 1 will be held from January 24 to February 1 while the session 2 exam will be from April 1 to 15, 2024.

The JEE Main 2024 application form is likely to be released in December 2023. Interested candidates will be able to register for JEE Main 2024 through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
NTA commenced JEE Main registration process on December 15 last year. However, the NTA exam calendar 2024 was uploaded much earlier did not have the JEE Main registration date.

The JEE Main 2024 application process for the January session will begin first and subsequently the registration process for April session will commence. NTA will also upload the eligibility criteria, application fee, exam centre details along with the JEE Main registration date 2024.
The JEE Main exam 2024 will be held for a duration of 3 hours and the question paper will have Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. the exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test.
JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will comprise 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively.
JEE Main 2024 for Paper 1 consists of class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics topics. For Paper 2A, candidates need to study Maths, General Aptitude and Architecture while in Paper 2B, Maths General Aptitude and Planning questions of Class 11, 12 syllabus will be asked.
The JEE Main exam is held for admission into Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and Government-Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) across the country.
