JEE Main candidates are complaining of injustice and stress caused due to the decision of National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct only two sessions of JEE Main 2022. Students along with NSUI members are urging Union Education Minister and exam authorities to postpone the 2nd session, conduct 4 sessions and provide sufficient gap between each session.
Anila Bhendia, cabinet minister, Women and child development and social welfare department tweeted: "Reducing the number of attempts of #JEEMains at last moment and conducting it between the board exams without sufficient gap will drive students into frenzy. I also request the authorities to listen the rational demands of students."

A Twitter user asked if students have wings referring to clash of JEE Main dates with board exams 2022.
●SUDDENLY #JEEMains Attempts Reduced from 4 to 2
— cbsenono (@cbsenono) April 2, 2022
●ONLY 20 Days Gap Between JEE Main 1st and 2nd Attempt
●Many State Board exams clashing with JEE
Do students have wings? How will they appear for Multiple exams,at different centres, on consecutive days? #JEEStudentsWantJustice
Another Twitter user said, "All exams are getting postponed then why not JEE Main? Conducting both exams simultaneously, with students having diff centres for diff exams will waste a lot of time in travelling itself, provided with less time from the starting. Will it be justified?"

On March 30, the Supreme Court allowed JEE Main 2022 candidates to submit representation before the National Testing Agency (NTA) and raise their grievances against reducing the number of sessions from 4 to 2 this year, as per Live Law. A bench comprising Justices DY Chandrachud, Surya Kant and Bela Trivedi said that the Court cannot interfere with the policy decision of the authorities; however, the petitioners can raise their grievances before NTA.
