The overlap is forcing candidates to choose between two important academic opportunities.

According to one of the concerned aspirants, Gaurang Singh, IIM Rohtak has announced interview dates that overlap with the JIPMAT examination schedule, leaving students caught between two major academic opportunities.
While writing to the Careers360, he wrote, “Students have spent months preparing for these exams, and this scheduling conflict has caused significant stress and uncertainty.”
“Institutions of national importance should ensure proper coordination so that students’ futures are not affected because of poor scheduling decisions,” Singh added.

The JIPMAT is scheduled to be conducted on June 7, 2026 from 3 pm to 5.30 pm while as per the IIM Rohtak official website the personal interviews for the IPM programme will be held in the first or second week of June 2026.
About JIPMAT exam and IIM Rohtak IPM programme
The JIPMAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. The exam is meant for students who want to pursue management studies right after completing Class 12.
JIPMAT is held in computer-based mode and includes sections on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, data interpretation, and verbal ability. Over the years, the exam has gained popularity among students looking for an early pathway into management education at IIMs.

Meanwhile, the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Rohtak is a five-year course that combines undergraduate and postgraduate management studies. Students who complete the programme are awarded a combined BBA and MBA degree by the institute. Admission to the IIM Rohtak IPM programme includes an entrance examination followed by further selection rounds such as personal interviews. Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the institute based on their Class 10 and Class 12 academic performance.
