NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir board of school education (JKBOSE) has issued a notification regarding the exam date of the national means cum merit scholarship scheme (NMMSS) examination 2023-24. As per the notification, the JK NMMS 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on July 8, 2024.

The JK NMMS admit card will be issued on the official website. Students will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the JK NMMS admit card 2024.
JK NMMS 2024 admit card is a mandatory document for the examination day. Students will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their hall tickets.
Students will be selected on the basis of marks scored in Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholarship Ability Test (SAT). The exams will be held for duration of 90 minutes. The MAT will be held from 11 am to 12:30 pm and SAT will be from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.

JK NMMS 2024 eligibility
- Students in class 8 are eligible to apply for the NMMSS 2024 exam.
- A minimum of 55% in Class 8 exams is required of applicants; SC/ST students may be exempted by 5%.
- Students have to be enrolled in a local body, government-aided, or government school.
- The total annual income of the family should not be more than Rs 3.50 lakh.
- Reservation will be provided to different categories of students as per the UT of J&K reservation policy.
