JPSC CSE Prelims 2024: Exam will be conducted on March 17 in two shifts.
NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced the dates for the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services preliminary exam. According to the official notice, the JPSC civil service prelims exam 2024 will be conducted on March 17. The JPSC civil service exam 2024 will be conducted in two shifts across various districts in Jharkhand.
The JPSC CSE prelims 2024 first shift will be held from 10am to 12pm while the second shift will be held from 2pm to 4 pm. Candidates should carry the JPSC CSE admit card 2024 along with a valid photo ID, printout of attendance sheets and two passport size photographs to the examination centre. Candidates will be able to download the JPSC CSE admit card 2024 from the official website, jpsc.gov.in.
JPSC CSE 2024: Selection process
The JPSC CSE 2024 selection process involves three stage- prelims, mains and interview. However, the prelims exam is qualifying in nature, the final merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in the mains and interview only.

JPSC CSE 2024: Exam pattern
The JPSC CSE prelims 2024 will consist of two papers, each carrying 200 marks. The papers will be on general studies. The duration of each paper in JPSC CSE prelims 2024 is 2 hours. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
In JPSC prelims exam 2024, questions will be asked from the topics such as History of India, Geography of India, Indian Polity and Governance, Economic and Sustainable development, Science and Technology, Jharkhand specific questions, National and international current events.
