Karnataka NEET PG 2024 counselling registration deadline extended to October 7

NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date to register for Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024 for admission in postgraduate medical courses in the state medical colleges. Eligible candidates who have not yet registered will be able to submit their application form by 2pm on October 7. The KEA PGET counselling registration link has been hosted on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

“Those candidates who have registered but did not pay the fees can also pay the fees and complete the application process. Dates will not be extended again to register for PG Medical courses - 2024,” the KEA said in its latest notification.

As per the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi letter dated July 24, 2023, “All the rounds of counselling including Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted only by KEA in online mode, all the PG NEET qualified candidates are hereby advised to register online and complete the document verification process in KEA to become eligible for admission to PG Medical Courses in the State of Karnataka.”

The Karnataka NEET PG application correction facility has also been made available from today 5 pm to October 7 till 6 pm for candidates who have successfully registered, paid fees for the counselling process.

Editing of PGNEET-2024 application Editing of application will be enabled from 5.00 pm on 05-10-2024 to 07-10-2024 6.00 pm to the candidates who have registered, applied and paid the fees for PGNEET-2024 for admissions to PG Medical courses.

Such candidates will be permitted to edit and modify the details entered by them in the application form. “Those who have declared but not paid the fees for PGNEET-2024 can make the payment and edit the application if interested. No individual intimation will be sent to candidates in this regard,” it added.

KEA NEET PG 2024 registration process

The KEA also informed candidates that the registration process for in-service candidates will be enabled after receipt of the eligible in-service list from the concerned or directorate of medical education (DME).

Before proceeding to fill the KEA NEET PG counselling form 2024, candidates will have to keep their SSLC or Class 10 mark sheet with register number and date of birth, Class 12 mark sheet, caste certificate, income certificate, and PwD certificate, if applicable, handy. They will also be required to provide details that show they studied in Karnataka.

Students will also have to upload the latest passport size photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression in .jpg format with file size not exceeding 50KB.

Besides qualifying NEET PG exam 2024, candidates are also required to submit the internship completion certificate. A compulsory rural service bond format for non in-service candidates has also been uploaded on the official website. Applicants will have to fill the form in the specified format on a stamp paper of Rs 100 and duly notarized.

These two certificates have to be submitted by all candidates allotted to colleges under the government, private, NRI, and management quota at the time of collecting admission orders from KEA.
