The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued the provisional answer keys for Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2026) and Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET 2027). Candidates can download the PGCET and DCET 2026 answer key in PDF format from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Candidates can raise challenges against the DCET and PGCET provisional answer keys 2026 by May 27. Candidates will have to use their application number, candidate name, and date of birth details to challenge the objections.

According to the official KEA notice, while submitting objections, candidates must provide details of the paper, exam date, version code, question number, and supporting documents in PDF format.

Objections submitted without mentioning the question number or version code, or those that are incomplete or without supporting evidence, will not be considered, KEA said. The key answers reviewed and finalised by the subject expert committee shall be final.

PGCET, DCET 2026 marking scheme

KEA conducts PGCET exam for admission to MBA, ME, MTech, MArch, and lateral entry courses offered by government and private institutions in Karnataka. Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer, while unattempted or incorrectly marked questions receive 0 marks.

DCET 2026 exam is held for lateral admission to engineering courses and first-year architecture courses under the lateral entry scheme for both day and evening colleges within Karnataka. No negative marking is followed in the DCET exam, and one mark is allotted for every correct answer.
