NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will open the official KEA portal for uploading documents by the candidates today, September 2. Candidates with KCET 2020 ranks from 1- 2000 will be able to upload their relevant documents for verification till September 3. The authorities had released the rank-wise schedule for uploading documents earlier on the official website kea.kar.nic.in; candidates now have to follow the same schedule for uploading their documents.

It must be noted that seat allotment for admission to various Professional Courses for the year 2020, will be based on the documents / certificates uploaded by the eligible candidates.

List of documents to be uploaded by the candidates

Candidates are required to upload the following documents as per the schedule-

  • Print of KCET-2020 Online Application Form

  • KCET 2020 admit card/admission ticket.

  • SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card.

  • 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card

  • 7 years study certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO / DDPI.

  • Income Certificate (If applicable)

  • Kannada Medium Certificate (If applicable)

  • Rural Study Certificate (If applicable)

  • Caste Certificate (If applicable)

  • Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile / study / employment of the parent.

  • Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)

  • Identity Card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate/Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.

In the official notice, KEA highlighted that candidates who have not received the original marks card of qualifying examination for 2020 from the concerned boards, should obtain the signature of the Principal of the institution where they have passed 2nd PU /12th Standard examination on the provisional marks card. Internet copy of downloaded marks will not be accepted.
