NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the information brochure for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2021. Candidates can access the KCET brochure online at kea.kar.nic.in. The Karnataka CET 2021 brochure contains detailed information regarding the conduct of entrance examination for admissions to Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, Veterinary, Pharmacy and Naturopathy and Yoga Professional Courses.
KCET 2021 application form was released on June 15 at kea.kar.nic.in. The last date of KCET registration 2021 is July 10. To fill the KCET application form, candidates have to visit the KEA official website. Candidates can pay the application fee in online mode only through net banking/ debit card/ credit card.
KEA has relaxed the eligibility criteria for admissions through KCET 2021. Due to cancellation of PUC examination, candidates do not need to have a score of 45% in the qualifying examination . They only need to have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination. In addition to that, candidates should have physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination with chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology/ electronics/ computer science as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study. KCET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on August 28 and 29, 2021.
KEA has not introduced any change in the KCET exam pattern. There will be 180 questions in total with 60 questions each in mathematics, physics and chemistry sections. KCET 2021 will be held in two sessions and candidates will be given a duration of 1 hour 20 minutes for the exam..
