Download NowNEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official brochure. The authorities started the KCET 2022 registration on April 18. Also, the last date of KCET 2022 registration is May 5. Candidates willing to appear for the KCET 2022 exam are advised to consider the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of KCET 2022 include mother tongue, domicile, nationality, and educational qualifications.

Nationality: Candidates appearing for the KCET exam 2022 must be a citizen of India.

Domicile: Candidates must have passed either the SSLC/10th standard or 2nd PUC/12th standard exam from Karnataka.

Educational Qualification: Aspirants must clear the 2nd PUC/12th standard or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer/Electronics with (40% for the reserved category)

Mother tongue: The applicant’s mother tongue must be Kannada, Tulu, and Kodava, and must be a resident of Kannada for at least 7 years between 1st and 12th standards.

Jammu and Kashmir migrants: Candidates whose parents are migrants of Jammu and Kashmir need to produce proof of migration.
The authorities will open the KCET 2022 application form correction facility from May 7 and will end the process on May 10. KCET application form correction facility gives an opportunity to the candidates to make the necessary amendments and correct the form details.
