Try NowThe Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 round 2 mock seat allotment result today, August 17, for engineering courses. Candidates who participated in the Karnataka UGCET counselling can check their mock seat allotment on the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The authority has also published the KCET round 2 mock allotment cutoff.
The KCET 2026 round 2 mock allotment gives candidates an indication of the college and course they may receive based on their KCET rank, category and option entries. The allotment is not final, and candidates can modify their choices before the deadline.
Candidates can add, delete or modify their option entries until August 20, 2026, at 9 AM. The changes made during this window will be considered while preparing the provisional Round 2 seat allotment.

The KCET round 2 counselling process began with the display of the vacant seat matrix on August 7. Candidates were allowed to enter or modify their choices from August 7 to August 13. The KCET round 2 provisional seat allotment result 2026 is scheduled to be released on August 19 after 10 AM.

Candidates can follow these steps to check their KCET Round 2 mock allotment:
- Visit the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
- Open the KCET or UGCET 2026 counselling section.
- Click on the round 2 mock seat allotment result link.
- Enter the required login credentials, including CET number and date of birth.
- Submit the details.
- Check the allotted college and course.
Candidates should note that the mock allotment is only indicative. A candidate may receive a different seat in the provisional or final allotment depending on changes made by candidates, availability of seats and the KEA allotment process.

Among the top five courses, CSE has an opening rank of 285 and a closing rank of 28060, while CSE (AI & ML) closes at 282477.
