Kerala Govt announces digital clinics, teachers' training before reopening on June 1: Report

The Kerala government will be introducing programmes for giving special consideration to differently-abled students in the next academic year.
NEW DELHI: Kerala education minister V Sivankutty recently said that the schools in the state will reopen for the next academic year on June 1, 2022. The education minister has also announced various programmes as part of the Kerala school reopening.
“The services of digital clinics will be available in schools before the reopening to ensure the digital apparatuses are functional. Minister informed that detailed guidelines will be published to revamp the parents and teachers association,” V Sivankutty said, as per the Mathrubhumi report.

He assured students that the books for the next academic year will be distributed before June 1. He also said that the Kerala school reopening will take place with a grand ‘Pravesanolsavam’ in schools.
The report further said that the Kerala government will be introducing programmes for giving special consideration to differently-abled students in the next academic year.
On the school fee hikes, the minister warned schools that imposed huge fees and said that strict actions will be taken if identified.

“A total number of schools functioning without government approval will be counted and the Director of Public Education will look into them,” he said.
“The training for teachers for Classes 1 to 7 will be held in May while the other teachers can attend after the evaluation of annual examination papers,” the minister added.
