NEW DELHI : LinkedIn launched a new research on professionals in India, stating how quickly work is changing with 90% of professionals looking for more guidance and support than ever before. According to the LinkedIn report, as jobs are evolving, the biggest opportunity for professionals is integrating AI into daily tasks (40%). However, 62% of the professionals are convinced that getting ahead in their careers now depends on their comfort with AI, the LinkedIn statement said.
In response to this, the use of LinkedIn learning courses focused on AI aptitude has spiked by 117% among non-technical professionals over the past year, the LinkedIn statement added.
As per LinkedIn’s research report, a 123% increase in posts mentioning flexible work over the last two years, highlighted how LinkedIn continues to be top of mind for workers as companies evolve their return-to-office (RTO) strategies.

Professionals recognise experience alone isn’t enough:
As per LinkedIn’s report, 63% of professionals acknowledge the need for continuous learning with 41% believing that upskilling is essential for career growth. Around 60% seek guidance on the skills needed to navigate workplace change.
“About 44% of them are learning about tech advancements, 35% on sector-specific market analysis (35%), and 35% to stay informed and prepared for future opportunities,” the report added.
Videos to gain knowledge:
Around 49% of professionals in India find short-form videos easy to engage with, while 46% of professionals prefer long-form videos wherein the focus is on specific skills.
“Professionals particularly value videos with anecdotes and learnings (49%), and unscripted podcast conversations (38%), which help them make informed professional decisions and evaluate career prospects,” the report adds.
Searching for solutions:
Professionals use LinkedIn to gain knowledge and skills which helps them adapt to the rapid changes in the workplace. With expert insights, AI-powered coaching, and real-time news, LinkedIn has the tools it needs to stay ahead, the LinkedIn report adds.
