Candidates can apply for the Lucknow University professor recruitment 2023 by December 7.
NEW DELHI:
The Lucknow University has invited applications for the the posts of assistant professor, associate professor and professor on contractual basis in various self financed departments or institutions. Candidates can apply for the posts on the official website, lkouniv.ac.in.
The university has also invited applications for director of faculty of engineering and technology (self financed) and the Institute of Management Science (IMS, Self Financed) on contract basis. Applicants can apply for various vacancies by December 7.
Application fee
Candidates who had applied for the posts against advertisement released on July 29, 2021 and May 2, 2022. Candidates of unreserved, OBC and EWS applying for the posts will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1,500. However, candidates from SC and ST categories will have to pay Rs 1,200 as registration fee. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post or category should submit separate applications for each post and category along with requisite application fees.
No. of posts
The university is conducting the recruitment process for 84 assistant professors, 29 associate professors and 13 professors. Applicants applying for the posts should fulfil the university grants commission (UGC) rules for these posts.

The university will only accept Class 10 certificates as proof of date of birth. It added that the university reserves the right to revise, reschedule, cancel and suspend the recruitment process without assigning any reason. The university also reserves the right of adding or subtracting the number of vacancies, it added.
The candidates will also have to upload the educational qualification and category certificates during the application process. They will have to bring the original certificates at the time of interview.
