Try NowThe State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the registration deadline for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026. The registration last date has been extended for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes. Candidates can now submit their online MHT CET application forms and upload the required documents till July 16, 2026, 5 pm.

As per the MHT CET CAP counselling schedule, the authority has also extended the deadline for document verification and confirmation of application forms to July 17, 2026, 5 pm. Candidates who are yet to complete the registration process can apply through the official CET Cell counselling website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
The extension gives candidates additional time to complete the MHT CET CAP application process and ensure that all required documents are uploaded and verified before participating in the CAP counselling process.

Steps to register for MHT CET CAP 2026
Candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the MHT CET CAP application process:
- Go to the official CET Cell Maharashtra counselling website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Click the “CET (Examination) portal for A.Y 2026-27” link available on the candidates' section.
- Register using the required credentials.
- Fill in the online application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Select either e-scrutiny or physical scrutiny mode.
- Submit the application and download the confirmation receipt.

To complete the document verification, candidates can select either the e-scrutiny mode or the physical scrutiny mode.
In e-scrutiny mode, candidates can complete the verification process online by uploading the required documents in scanned form. If the application and uploaded documents are found to be correct, they will be processed, and candidates can download the acknowledgement through their login.
Candidates choosing the physical scrutiny mode will have to visit the Facilitation Centre (FC) selected during registration along with the required original documents. After successful verification, the Facilitation Centre will issue the receipt/acknowledgement.
