Download NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 30 : Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will provide a single set of question paper to all students appearing for the Board exam. The move is part of the recent changes that the Board made to the SSC exam pattern. The Board had earlier made changes to the exam syllabus as well as decided to make the question paper more subjective.
As per the new guidelines set up by MSBSHSE, questions will be set more on students’ classroom interaction and learning, personal views on a topic and understanding of it. The Board had introduced the four varying set of questions papers to restrict cases of cheating in the SSC exams. Students got the four sets for Mathematics, second and third languages. While the difficulty level of all the four sets was same, no two questions in any of the four sets were same.
The MSBSHSE SSC exam is scheduled to be held from February 1 to March 22 for the 2019 session. For class 10 students the exam is starting with the First Language. The exams would be held in two slots. The morning exam would be held from 11 am to 2 pm and the afternoon slot from 3 pm to 6 pm. The exam is held for 100 marks of which 80 is for practical and 20 for internal assessment. More than 17 lakh students are known to write the class 10 exam.
