Maharashtra school education minister Dada Bhuse has announced that the government would take notes of the shortcomings highlighted by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke .
The CJP has uploaded a clip of Bhuse, where he said the government needs to improve certain aspects of school operations that have been pointed out. He added that the observations were being viewed positively and that the suggestions made would be welcomed.
"We need to improve upon certain aspects of the school's operations that have been pointed out. We view these observations positively and will certainly welcome the suggestions made," Bhuse said in Marathi.
CJP demands resignation of Bhuse
The minister's response comes after CJP launched its ' School Thik Karo ' campaign to highlight issues concerning government schools in Maharashtra . Dipke has been raising concerns over the condition of government schools and has sought greater accountability from the state government.
As part of the campaign, Dipke visited a Zila Parishad school in Ujani village in Latur's Ausa tehsil and raised concerns about the lack of basic facilities, including proper classrooms, benches, toilets and safe access roads. He also said ministers and elected representatives should be held accountable for the condition of government schools .
Dipke had also demanded the registration of Bhuse as Maharashtra's school education minister, questioning the government's handling of the condition of public schools . He said ministers and MLAs should send their children to government schools to understand the challenges faced by students.
