Maharashtra CET Cell opens objection portal for MHT CET PCM second attempt; Rs 1,000 fee applicable per challenge
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has issued the MHT CET second attempt answer key along with the response sheet and question papers on the official website of MAH CET cetcell.mahacet.org or mahacet.org. The phase 2 PCM examinations of MHT CET 2026 were held on May 10 and 11. Earlier, on May 20, the CET Cell had released the PCM answer key and response sheet for the first attempt of the examination.
Candidates dissatisfied with the provisional MHT CET PCM 2026 answer key can raise objections until May 30, 2026. To submit challenges, applicants need to log in to the MHT CET 2026 PCM objection tracking portal and select the “objection tracking” option. A fee of Rs 1,000 per question will have to be paid for each objection raised.

MHT CET PCM Answer Key 2026: How to download?
To download the MHT CET second attempt answer key, candidates can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official MHT CET portal at cetcell.mahacet.org
- On the homepage, select the link for the MHT CET 2026 answer key
- A new login page for downloading the PCM answer key will appear on the screen
- Enter the required login credentials, including roll number and password
- The MHT CET 2026 Session 2 PCM answer key will then be displayed
- Download and save the answer key PDF for future use
How to challenge MHT CET PCM provisional answer key 2026?
To challenge the MHT CET PCM 2026 provisional answer key, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org
- Click on the “Candidate Login” option available on the homepage
- Sign in using the required credentials, including roll number and password
- Open the MHT CET objection tracker portal
- The second attempt PCM question paper along with the official answers and options will be displayed
- Select the question you wish to challenge and mark the answer you consider correct
- Complete the payment of the objection fee and submit the challenge form online
MHT CET PCM 2026: Marking scheme
In the MHT CET examination pattern, Physics and Chemistry sections carry 1 mark for each question, while the Mathematics section awards 2 marks per question. The total marks allotted for Physics and Chemistry together are 100, and the Mathematics section also carries 100 marks.
