NEW DELHI: Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) World Peace University (WPU)'s School of Design (SOD) has opened its applications for the year 2023. Students can apply till January 27, 2023.
The MIT WPU School of Design offers bachelor's in design, fashion (BDes) and master's in design (MDes) with specialisations in industrial product design, user experience design, visual communication design, fashion and apparel design and jewellery and manufacturing design.
The university has designed this course with the aim to create a community of designers to foster students' global capabilities. It offers learning experiences based on value-based education, research, and industry collaborations. The MIT WPU fees is RS 3.15 lakh per annum.
Admission requirements
For undergraduate courses, candidates must have qualified a 10+2 or equivalent exam (CBSE, ISC, State, IB or any other equivalent Indian or international higher secondary board in any stream) from any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent (at least 45 percent in the case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra state only). Students appearing for Class XII exams in the current academic year or awaiting results can also apply.
Eligibility criteria
- Level 1: Design Aptitude Test score based shortlisting round
- Level 2: Personal interviews over Portfolio Review (for shortlisted candidates only) and design tasks as deemed necessary.

- National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2023 online entrance exam scores
- National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2023 (Part A and Drawing) scores
