MP private school admission 2024 under RTE quota begins; apply till March 3

MP RTE Admission 2024: Students can apply for the MP private school admission through the official website, educationportal.mp.gov.in/rte.
NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh State Education Centre under the Right to Education Act has commenced the online application process for free admission of children from weaker sections and deprived groups in non-aided recognised private schools. Students can apply for the MP private school admission through the official website, educationportal.mp.gov.in/rte.
As per the schedule, the last date to apply for MP private school admissions under RTE act is March 3, 2024. Candidates will be able to download the acknowledgement and get the original documents verified in the allotted centres from February 24 to March 5.
Allotment letter from March 11
According to the RTE, on March 7, an online lottery will be organised to assign schools to applicants in a transparent and equitable manner. All District Collectors have received orders from the State Education Centre to finish this task within the allotted time frame and in compliance with all regulations.

Through SMS on their registered mobile phone numbers, applicants will receive information about the process. From March 11 to March 19, applicants who are chosen by lottery can download the allotment letter and apply for admission to the designated institution.
Under the Indian Constitution, the Right to Education Act provides free and compulsory education to children in the age group of 6 to 14 years under Article 21A. Children belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category will be eligible for admission for RTE MP Admission. Any interested citizen of the state wants to enroll their children under the RTI Act.
