Download NowThe Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced that the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID will be optional in all exam application forms for Classes 9 to 12 from the academic session 2025–26. This decision modifies the Board’s earlier instructions that mandated APAAR ID for all examination application forms in this session.
The APAAR ID system is part of the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to provide each student with a unique, permanent academic identifier. While it will remain optional for the upcoming academic session, the Board has clarified that from 2026–27 onwards, providing an APAAR ID in examination forms will be compulsory.
“In view of the facts mentioned in the referenced letter, for the academic session 2025–26, the APAAR ID will be optional in the application forms to be filled for Classes 9 to 12. From the next academic session, 2026–27, this provision will be mandatory,” the official notice said.
