NEW DELHI: The Nagaland Board Of School Education (NBSE) is set to commence the NBSE Class 11, HSSLC practical exams 2025 on December 3. The last date for the NBSE HSSLC practical exam is December 13, the official board notice stated.
Students have to prepare for the experiments, projects, etc as per the syllabus of the NBSE HSSLC practical exam, and the marking scheme will be followed by the board guidelines.
The exams will be conducted across 50 centres in Nagaland. The centre of examination for private candidates shall be notified by the board, the official notice added
According to the official notice, practical examination and project work will be conducted internally by the institution. For HSSLC practical exams, the head of the institution has to appoint external examiners. No internal examiner will be appointed for the practical examinations.
Moreover, the lists of external examiners must be submitted to the board at least one month before the commencement of the practical exams. The institute will provide all the necessary materials and necessary equipment required to conduct the examination and all project works.

For the NBSE HSSLC exams 2025, students have to appear for six external subjects, including one additional subject and three subjects which will be assessed internally. For all students of different streams, English is a compulsory subject.
For the commerce stream subjects main subjects will be accountancy, economics, and business studies, while science stream students have to prepare for chemistry and physics as compulsory subjects.
The subjects not having practical exams will be conducted for 100 marks, whereas, all the subjects with practical papers will include theory for 70 marks and practicals for 30 marks. Additionally, papers that have project work will consist of the internals of 10 marks and theory of 90 marks.
