NEET City Slip 2026 LIVE: Exam city, hall ticket for 22 lakh soon; NTA refund facility, SC on CBT plea

NEET City Slip 2026 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the re-NEET UG 2026 city intimation slip and hall ticket soon. NTA will issue the re-NEET UG 2026 exam city slip and admit card soon on its official website at neet.nta.nic.in for more than 22 lakh MBBS aspirants.

Candidates will have to enter their application number and password to download the re-NEET 2026 city intimation slip and hall ticket. NTA will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2026) re-exam on June 21 in a single mode from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

NEET Paper Leak

NEET UG re-exam 2026 is being conducted after paper leak allegations. Till now, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made 13 arrests in the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case across multiple states.

The controversy created a furore after investigators examined “guess paper allegedly matching a substantial part of the actual NEET 2026 question paper, raising concerns about the confidentiality of the national-level exam, triggering protests by students, parents and the general public across the country.

Recently, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a high-level review meeting with former ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan to strengthen arrangements and security measures for the NEET 2026 re-exam . Pradhan also wrote a letter to the chief ministers and Lieutenant Governors of all states and Union Territories, urging them to ensure strict security surveillance and smooth conduct of the re-exam.

NEET: SC dismisses CBT plea

A writ petition was filed in the Supreme Court seeking re-NEET UG 2026, which has been rescheduled to June 21, to be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. As per media reports, the plea was mentioned before the bench of Justices PS Narasimha and Arvind Kumar. SC has dismissed the CBT mode request and listed the matter after the vacation.

“They (NTA) are reholding the exam. The kind of pressure they have. We will post after vacation”, Justice Narasimha said.

Earlier, the Union education minister announced that NEET UG will be held in CBT mode from next year onwards.

The steps to download the NEET UG city slip 2026 are as follows

• Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click on the NEET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip link available.
• A new web page will open.
• Enter login credentials and click on submit.
• Re-NEET UG 2026 city slip will open on the screen.
• Check your NEET exam city details and download them for future use.

Furthermore, the testing agency has also extended the deadline to submit bank account details for candidates till June 22. Candidates who appeared for the cancelled NEET UG 2026 can submit their bank details by visiting the official website. Students must have their bank account number, IFSC code, bank name and upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque (optional).
