Use NowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will issue the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 admit card today, August 8. Candidates who registered for the entrance test will be able to download the NEET PG 2024 admit card through the official website, natboard.edu.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the NEET PG 2024 admit card. The NEET PG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on August 11. The exam will be conducted in two shifts with the first shift taking place from 9 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift from 3:30 pm to 7 pm.
The NEET PG 2024 admit card will carry details such as the candidate's name, father's name, date of birth, gender, application number, roll number, QR code, category, sub-category, NEET 2024 exam date, NEET PG 2024 exam time, and exam guidelines.
In case of any discrepancy on the NEET PG 2024 admit card, candidates should contact the exam authority immediately for rectification. Candidates must bring their NEET PG 2024 admit card along with a photo ID, such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, or voter ID card, to the exam centre for verification.
NEET PG 2024: Exam centre changed
Many students have reported that just three days before the NEET PG 2024, the NBEMS changed their examination centre locations to different states. Aspirants are expressing dissatisfaction with the reassigned cities, as these locations are farther away than their preferred choices.
Meanwhile, NSUI National President Varun Chaudhary has requested Union Health Minister JP Nadda to open a portal allowing students to select either their original or the newly assigned exam centre for the NEET PG 2024 exam.
NEET PG 2024: Exam pattern
The NEET PG 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode. The exam will have 200 multiple-choice questions subdivided into three sections. Candidates will have 3 hours and 30 minutes to attempt the exam. The exam carries a total of 800 marks, with 4 marks awarded for each correct answer and a 1-mark deduction for each incorrect answer.
The NEET PG 2024 cutoff date for the completion of the internship is August 15, 2024. The NEET PG 2024 exam will facilitate admission to 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,360 Doctor of Medicine (MD), and 922 PG Diploma seats. These seats will be allocated among the 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota seats, deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutions, and private colleges.
