Once the results are declared, counselling authorities release cutoff ranks across multiple rounds, including Round 1, Round 2, and the stray vacancy round. The NEET UG cutoff is the minimum score required to qualify for medical admissions. Candidates scoring equal to or above the cutoff are eligible for All India and state counselling. Under the 15% All India Quota, counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), with cutoffs generally higher due to intense national-level competition in NEET UG.
