NIRF Ranking 2023: IIT Delhi replaces Bombay in overall; AIIMS Delhi jumps 3 spots up
NIRF Ranking 2023: IIT Madras and IISc Bengaluru retained the first and second ranks. IIT Bombay moved to 4th, AIIMS Delhi replaced IIT Kharagpur at 6th spot.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi) has replaced IIT Bombay this year in the overall category in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2023. IIT Madras and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru have retained the first and second spots, respectively. Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the NIRF overall ranking 2023.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has jumped three spots up to the sixth position this year replacing IIT Kharagpur. IIT Bombay has gone down to the fourth place while IIT Kanpur retained the fifth rank in the overall ranking of the educational institutions.

IIT Kharagpur took the seventh position of IIT Roorkee which went down to 8th spot while IIT Guwahati moved to the ninth place. JNU retained the 10th position in the top 10 ranks this year too.
