NLSIU conducts additional exam on September 14 ( UG Slot 4, and PG Slot 2)
When the NLAT 2020 exam was originally conducted on September 12, BA LLB programme was administered in three batches (UG Batch 1-3), whereas for the LLM programme the exam was conducted in a single session (PG Batch 1).
However, after students complained of technical difficulties and were unable to take the test on September 12, an additional batch was added for both the UG (Batch 4) and PG (Batch 2) programmes. The exam for the additional slots was conducted on September 14.
Provisional NLAT 2020 answer key released earlier
The university earlier on September 12 had released the provisional answers keys of NLAT 2020 for the UG programme (Barch 1-3) and PG programme (Batch 1).
This was followed by the release of NLAT 2020 answer keys for the additional batches on September 14. Further, NLSIU has also released the question papers for the additional baches.
Declaration of NLAT Result 2020
The honourable Supreme Court in an earlier order has prohibited NLSIU from declaring the results of NLAT 2020 exam. The court has also asked the university to not carry out any admission process based on NLAT 2020 scores unless it passes a judgement on the case pending before it.
It may be noted that the NLU Consortium and an aggrieved parent had dragged NLSIU to court after it pulled out of CLAT 2020, and decided to conduct its own exam.
The Supreme Court is slated to pass its judgement today.
NLAT 2020 exam attendance figures :
-
27, 538 candidates registered for the NLAT 2020 exam
-
26, 071 candidates appeared in the exam
