NEW DELHI : The National Medical Commission (NMC) has asked medical colleges to submit the video recordings of the exams conducted and the year-wise letter of recognition, under the annual declaration for the academic year 2025-26 by November 15. The submission is mandatory for colleges for renewal of permission of undergraduate medical seats. Colleges failing to submit the declaration will be deprived of approval for MBBS seats from the commission.
“All medical colleges/institutes having valid Letter of Permission (LoP) for MBBS admission are hereby directed to fill in the details/data of respective Institutions on NMC portal for annual declaration as required in the NMC Act, 2019 and various regulations issued by NMC from time to time. Submission of duly completed annual declaration form of each college on NMC portal is mandatory for annual renewal of permission of UG-MBBS seats. No seat shall be permitted in case the college/institution fails to submit the annual declaration within the specified time period,” said NMC in an official letter.
The commission informed that the colleges which have not registered their AEBAS with NMC will not be able to access the portal. The username and the password of each medical college has already been shared with the nodal officers of the concerned colleges. A self-explanatory user manual is available on the portal to guide the colleges.
It is mandatory for the medical colleges to submit the following information in annual declaration portal for AY 2025-26:

The colleges will not be able to edit the data once the application is submitted on the portal. The data/details submitted by the colleges may be subject to public disclosure, if decided by NMC.”
NMC further informed that all medical colleges and institutes are required to pay a requisite fee of Rs 3,54,000 (including 18% GST) online through payment gateway of the portal only along with application for permission of admission of seats for UG courses for the academic year 2025-26.
