NMC warns medical aspirants against fake admission letter
The MCC had earlier released an advisory for the medical aspirants and advised candidates not to believe any fake agent.

NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) on Sunday informed that the letter confirming the MBBS admission of candidates is fake and is not issued by the NMC. It also attached the copy of the fake letter.
Alerting the aspirants against the fake letter, the official notice said, “It is informed to all that the above attached document is fake and is not issued by NMC. All concerned may kindly take notice of this.”
The fake letter read, “This is a confirmation letter from the National Medical Commission, that your application for admission in undergraduate program of MBBS session 2021-22 is being considered under central government nomination and pull quota, you have secured a seat in LOKMANYA TILAK MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL COLLEGE (SION HOSPITAL) MUMBAI.”
The letter further said that the candidate will get the allotment letter in mop-up round and have to report at the allotted college.
On November 18, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released an advisory for the medical aspirants. In which, it advised candidates not to believe any fake agent and complete all the registrations and NEET 2021 choice filling process from the official website, mcc.nic.in.
It also asked candidates to contact MCC in case they encounter any fraudulent website or agent.
