NEW DELHI: The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International has recognised NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM) for its We Care: Civic Engagement Internship programme. The NMIMS SBM We Care: Civic Engagement internship programme is an integral part of its MBA curriculum and seeks to cultivate visionary leaders capable of fostering an inclusive and sustainable world.
Spanning over three weeks, the internship empowers students with a comprehensive sustainability perspective while promoting values such as inclusivity, social innovation, collegiality, integrity, and excellence, an official statement said.

Caryn Beck-Dudley, president, and CEO of AACSB said: "New stakeholder demands necessitate a reimagining of business school initiatives, and NMIMS SBM presents a fresh path for business education and by implementing innovation in knowledge co-creation, novel learning methods, and wide educational access, business schools are meeting market expectations."
The Innovations That Inspire initiative by NMIMS
The Innovations That Inspire initiative, now in its eighth year, has highlighted 214 business school endeavors that illustrate forward-thinking approaches to education, research, community engagement, entrepreneurship, leadership, and diversity and inclusion.
Prashant Mishra, dean of the School of Business Management at NMIMS said, "NMIMS SBM's innovative efforts to revitalize business education have garnered well-deserved acclaim. By harnessing the power of innovation for knowledge co-creation, novel learning approaches, and expanding educational access, NMIMS SBM is meeting the expectations of the market while increasing value for businesses, learners, and society."
Originally established as a business school 42 years ago, the statement added, NMIMS has consistently ranked among the top 10 B-Schools in the country since 1998 in various published surveys.
