As per the revised schedule, the submission window has now been extended from April 7–10 to April 10–16, 2026, giving students a few extra days to complete the process. This applies to both non-Aadhaar candidates and those using Aadhaar or DigiLocker for verification.
The notice states, “The module enables candidates to download the certificate, get it duly attested, and upload the same thereafter. Additionally, a printed copy of the same must be produced at the examination centre for physical verification.”
Candidates can complete their identity verification by uploading a signed and attested certificate along with a photograph, certified by their school principal or headmaster.
Alternatively, as suggested by the NTA, the certificate can also be attested by a Class-I Gazetted officer such as a Tehsildar, revenue officer, SDM, or DM. For NRI applicants, attestation can be done by a Class-I Gazetted officer at the Indian Embassy.
Applicants of CUET are also required to carry a printed copy of their ID proof to the exam centre for verification on the day of the exam.
The CUET exam will be conducted from May 11 to 31 across India and in select international cities. The paper will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, and Punjabi.
