Odisha state scholarship application deadlines extended to March 5
State Scholarship: The deadline for mandatory online validation by heads of institution has also been extended

NEW DELHI: The Odisha state higher education department has extended the deadline for applying for the ‘e-Medhabruti’ and ‘Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti’ scholarships for the academic year 2021-22. The last date to apply for the scholarships has been extended to March 5.
The deadline for these Odisha state scholarships has also been extended for online validation by principals or heads of educational institutions. The last date for the online validation is March 31.

The e-Medhabruti scholarship provides financial aid to students who are pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, technical and professional courses. The scholarship is awarded only to residents of Odisha whose parents’ income is not more than Rs 6 lakh per annum.
The Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti scholarship provides financial assistance to those students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Odia language. The scholarship is offered to those who score more than 90 percent in Odia language in bachelor’s degree or at the higher secondary level.

“Online validation by the principals or heads of concerned institutions is mandatory for getting e-Medhabruti and Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti fresh scholarship by the eligible students,” said a statement from the department of higher education.
